Easy to fix, you just need to know: Disable S.M.A.R.T. for Windows 10

It turned out to be that easy. ASUS laptop’s startup issue was caused by conflict with SMART diagnostics in BIOS. Just disable it…

Other vendor’s machines having Samsung NVMe might be also affected by this – lucky ones do have this option inside their BIOS setup. Otherwise, it is different, yet bad story…

To do that – press F2 on startup and go to Advanced. Then disable checking of the S.M.A.R.T. information.

Could it be due to some sort of delay caused or misconfiguration imposed?.. Anyway, don’t wanna think about it further. Just negative experience from ASUS technical support.
